Nextrans Consulting Engineers emerged in 2013 driven by the idea that an engineering firm could be proactive in meeting the challenges and changing needs of its clients. Since our inception, we have dedicated ourselves to providing exceptional services to all our clients through our knowledge, experience and our ongoing commitment to quality, innovation and value engineering.

Quality Control
Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality in professional services. To achieve this goal, project-specific Quality Control (QC) Plans are implemented on all assignments. We ensure that all project activities and tasks are consistently monitored, and that independent technical reviews of all assignment tasks are conducted at key milestones, over the course of a project.
Cost Control
Nextrans recognizes the importance of cost control and the need for transparent, timely, and accurate cost reporting of consultant fees throughout a given assignment. To assist our Project Managers in monitoring and reporting project progress and financial status, Nextrans utilizes industry leading accounting software that provides real-time financial reporting to identify or predict possible cost overruns early and allow our management staff to take corrective actions.
We further recognize the importance of establishing and maintaining accurate construction cost estimates over the course of an assignment. By tracking and reporting construction cost variations resulting from scope changes, our clients are able to identify the financial impacts of any design changes and make sound financial planning and budgeting decisions within their organization.
Scheduling Monitoring
We use a combination of industry leading project management and accounting software for schedule monitoring and project performance tracking. These programs provide our Project Managers with accurate and rolling forecasts that facilitate the early identification of schedule problems and assist in the implementation of corrective action.

Richard Pernicky is a Senior Project Manager and Transportation Planner with more than 25 years of experience in both the public and the private sector. He has extensive project management experience in traffic operations, site traffic impact, parking, municipal traffic and transportation planning studies as well as development engineering and expert Evidence Testimony (OMB).
